About GNU Linux Users' Group, NIT Durgapur
The GLUG of NIT Durgapur is involved in various activities and provides many resources to help people use linux. The various resources include a repository by which the users can install Linux on their computers through LAN, without the need of any CD/DVD, we provide help to people who have difficulties in using Linux or in discussing about any topic/Open Source software through our mailing list and the IRC channel #nitdgplug on irc.freenode.net
We also conduct many events such as a completely Linux fest Mukti and there is also a Install Fest that is scheduled to be held in the next month in which various distributions of Linux are available for installation and we will assist you with the installation process. We hope that many people from 2nd year and 3rd year turn up for the InstallFest, and start using Linux.
